Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) Information Text

HOSU KONAKLAMA OTELCİLİK VE RESTORAN İŞLETMECİLİĞİ ANONİM ŞİRKETİ (the “Company”) has prepared this notice to inform you about the personal data processed in connection with the services of Sen’den Restaurant and the senden.istanbul website.

2. Personal data that may be processed

Depending on the service you use and how you contact us, the following data may be processed:

Identity and contact information: Name, surname, phone number and e-mail address.

Reservation information: Reservation date and time, number of guests, reservation status, requests to change or cancel, and any reservation notes you send us.

Event and contact requests: The name, contact details, date and scope of the planned event, and message content that you share in the contact or event form.

Newsletter information: The e-mail address you give to sign up for the newsletter, and records of your subscription and communication preferences.

Billing information: If you ask for an invoice, the information you give us that is needed to issue it. The website does not collect payment card details or online deposit information.

Website usage and technical data: IP address, device and browser information, transaction and security logs, pages visited, and data obtained from cookies and similar technologies.

Advertising and measurement data: Depending on your preference, advertising identifiers, cookie or pixel IDs, page interactions, and event data used to measure how advertising campaigns perform.

If you mention allergies or health conditions in your reservation or contact notes, this information may be special category personal data. We process it only as far as needed to handle your request, and only once the relevant legal requirements are met.

3. Purposes of processing

Where relevant, your personal data is processed for the following purposes:

Receiving, evaluating, confirming and managing table reservation requests.

Contacting you about reservation changes, cancellations, delays and special requests.

Providing restaurant services and managing guest relations.

Evaluating your requests for special events and organizations, and getting back to you.

Issuing invoices at your request, and fulfilling accounting and legal obligations.

Keeping the website running and secure, and fixing technical problems.

Analyzing website usage and improving our services in line with your preferences.

Sending announcements and marketing messages under your newsletter subscription and the necessary communication consents.

With your consent, measuring how advertising campaigns perform, personalizing ads and carrying out remarketing activities.

4. Cookies and advertising platforms

Our website uses cookies that the site needs to work. Depending on your preference, it may also use analytics and advertising cookies, pixels and similar technologies. You can set your cookie preferences on the site’s consent screen.

We use the Google Ads, Meta Ads and TikTok Ads platforms to advertise and to measure our campaigns. Your newsletter subscription and marketing communication preferences are handled separately from your advertising cookie preferences. You can end your newsletter subscription using the unsubscribe method in the messages.

  • the newsletter sign-up form

  • phone and WhatsApp conversations

  • your direct contact with our restaurant

  • website transaction logs

  • cookies and advertising measurement technologies

Depending on the type of processing, one of the following applies as the legal ground: setting up or performing a contract, fulfilling a legal obligation, the Company’s legitimate interest, or, where required, your explicit consent. For marketing messages, non-essential advertising and analytics technologies, and information that counts as health data, we obtain the separate consent and meet the other legal requirements that the activity calls for.

6. Transfer of data

Your personal data may be shared with the following parties, only as far as the relevant purpose requires:

Providers of website, hosting, reservation and e-mail delivery infrastructure.

Business partners whose services we use for invoicing and accounting.

Communication service providers such as telephone and WhatsApp.

Depending on your consent and the technologies used, Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads and analytics service providers.

Authorized public institutions and organizations, where legal obligations require it.

Some technology and advertising service providers may have their systems outside Turkey. Any international data transfers to these providers are assessed under the relevant provisions of the KVKK and the applicable transfer requirements.

7. Your rights under the KVKK

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you may apply to the Company to:

Find out whether your personal data is processed;

Request information about it if it has been processed;

Find out why it is processed and whether it is used for that purpose;

Find out which third parties your data is transferred to;

Request correction of data that is incomplete or processed inaccurately;

Request erasure or destruction of your data, within the limits of the law;

Request that third parties who received your data be notified of any correction, erasure or destruction;

Object to any decision against you that results only from automated analysis of your data;

Claim compensation if you suffer damage from unlawful processing.

8. How to apply

You can send requests about your rights to the Company in an application that allows your identity to be verified and follows the applicable application procedures:
